The design of this package came pretty cool with it being in a well decorated magnetic close top box to hold the jar and then the jar had a cool sticker with the pop vac jars that I like. The rosin had a great look to it, had a very nice pale beige color to it with a nice easy to scoop moist texture which I mean who doesn’t like that.
Aroma
The aroma from this jar completely caught me off guard. Honestly, I didn’t have the highest expectations going in, but this stuff surprised me in the best way. While the scent isn’t overpoweringly pungent, it’s undeniably pleasant. It has a light, sugary sweetness terp profile that smells great if that’s what you like.
Taste
The flavor of this strain was great, especially if you’re into sweet terpene profiles like I am. I tried it at various temperatures like I usually do and each time, the inhale delivered a sugary sweetness that reminded me of a red apple and quite similar to the strain red vines I’ve had in the past. I love this terp profile taste is amazing.
Overall
Alien Labs and Solventless Refinery crushed it with this Planet Red. This rosin is fire, bringing high quality product and fresh new terp profiles to the Arizona market a win for us hash heads for sure. The effects were clean, relaxing, and enjoyable but not as pungent. I think the steep price point is hard to ignore, especially for recreational users. If you can grab it on a deal day, it’s probably worth it but personally I can’t. I’ve been wanting to try @solve work for a while now and especially since his first place in Experts’ Choice and second place overall at at @thesmokingjac, and Planet Red did not disappoint. Shoutout to Alien Labs and Solventless Refinery for bringing Arizona some more fire and they did amazing job!
