Appearance

When I first cracked open the jar, the rosin in its fresh press form looked good. It had a mix of light amber tones and some spots that were clean and transparent. However, scooping my dab was a bit of a hassle like it always is with fresh press. With it being that sticky, stringy state that can get pretty annoying to deal with. After a few dabs, I decided to cold cure it out of frustration. Once cured, the rosin had a nice pale hue and a moist, terpy consistency that was much easier to work with. All in all, great on looks.

Aroma

The aroma of this strain is nothing like its name suggests. When you hear "Rose Fuzz," you might expect a garden-like, earthy scent, but this one completely defies that. Instead, it leans heavily into an unusual, GMO-like funk, far from what the average person would associate with anything floral.

Taste

When I tried this strain in its fresh press form, the flavor matched the aroma almost perfectly—it was like a heavy GMO with earthy undertones. But once it cured, the GMO presence mellowed out slightly and the earthy notes took center stage. It also picked up a slight, almost delicate sweetness, just enough to notice without overpowering the experience.

Overall

This was a solid grab if you're into that earthy GMO funk, but honestly, it just wasn’t for me. Probably my least favorite pickup from Chris to be honest but then again I’m not a huge fan of this terp profile so I may be biased. Normally, when I grab something from him, I expect to be blown away, but this one just didn’t hit the mark for me. Don’t get me wrong, it was still great hash, just nothing that stood out—it felt pretty average. The effects were definitely there though; I got pretty high, and I’m sure that GMO was packed in there somewhere. Overall, it’s a decent jar, just lacking that "wow" factor I usually get. Maybe it’s not my terpene profile, but this one just didn’t do it for me.
