Appearance
This rosin has a unique appearance, with noticeable specks that stand out clearly in the image—I’d be curious to know what they are if anyone has insight? It’s all cold-cured, which is an interesting change from the thumbprint texture I’m used to from @real but none the less it looked solid
Aroma
The aroma of this strain is intriguing—it’s not a pure coffee scent, but it definitely has a roasted, slightly funky kind of gmo vibe with a sweetish undertone. I can see why it might remind people of roasted coffee beans.
Taste
This strain’s terp profile is intriguing, with a sweet, earthy vibe that some liken to roasted coffee beans. I get the comparison, but to me, it’s mostly sweet and earthy, without much bitterness. I actually prefer this smoother, sweeter profile over a more bitter one.
Overall
If you know me, you know I love my morning coffee, especially from local spots. I’d been hunting for this strain for a while and finally found it in San Diego. This jar was a Reserva Private from The Real Cannabis Chris, featuring two grams of cold-cure rosin instead of his usual half-jam, half-cold-cure thumbprints. The strain’s name, “Dalgona,” is inspired by the whipped coffee drink, a creative touch from Chris instead of simply calling it “Coffee.” The effects are smooth and mellow—not overly potent, but nicely stony. Overall, this strain delivered solidly with unique, complex terps that I really enjoyed.
