This rosin jar design was insanely cool, featuring a tropical storm radar on the lid and a side wrap that read “Tropical Z” in a weather report style a creative and unique touch from a cali rec brand. Opening the jar, the rosin immediately grabs your attention with its pale golden hue, glistening with terps and practically begging to be dabbed. The consistency was perfect when I dipped my tool in, it slid through effortlessly, scooping up a terpy, gooey dab that was almost ready to drip right off the tool.
Aroma
The aroma on this strain is great totally my kind of terps. Got a whiff at the dispo before buying, and honestly, the smell alone sealed the deal. It leans heavy on that Zkittlez profile, with that sweet, fruity punch, but then it has a bit of funky skunky notes that sneak in and add that extra “wow” factor.
Taste
The taste on this one lives up to its name Tropical Z and it absolutely delivers. It leans heavily on the classic Zkittlez flavor but brings a funky twist that sets it apart from the usual. Lately, I’ve found myself preferring this kind of profile over straight Zkittlez, and this strain only reinforced that. It’s bold, unique, and keeps you coming back for more.
Overall
This Tropical Z was on point, and if you haven’t tried LA Family Farms yet, I highly recommend you do they’re absolutely crushing it and hold their own against top Cali rec brands like 710labs, Trilogy, and more in my opinion. The effects from this strain were spot on, delivering a nice smooth high. What really stood out to me was the Zkittlez profile it was incredibly profound and dominant, and I’m not sure what cut they have, but it’s definitely something special. I’ve had other strains from this brand, and they’ve all been top-tier, with no misses. Props to LA Family Farms they definitely know what they’re doing.
