Appearance
The design on this jar was eye-catching, featuring a sleek top sticker with the bryantist logo, an image of a six-armed alien figure holding various hash accessories. I’m a big fan of the bryantist logo; it’s definitely one of the coolest out there. As for the hash itself, it looked fantastic. It had a pale beige color and a wet, terpy consistency that gave it a really nice look.
Aroma
The aroma of this strain was impressive, with a bold, dominant permanent marker smell, yet it was far from one-dimensional. It had a pungent, floral sweetness, complemented by a hint of fruity gas that made it stand out. The pineapple fruz added a unique twist, balancing the sharp marker-like scent with refreshing fruity notes. Definitely one of the more intriguing and pleasant-smelling strains.
Taste
The strain had an excellent taste, with a rich terpene profile. It brought a distinct permanent marker flavor that I really enjoyed, offering a unique and bold experience. The complexity of the taste made each hit stand out, especially with those subtle, yet noticeable fruity undertones. However, I did find it a bit harsh on the back end, which made it slightly uncomfortable. This slight scratchiness held me back from fully enjoying the experience. If it weren't for that harshness, I truly believe it would have been an exceptional smoke.
Overall
This was my first time trying the bryantist, and it didn’t disappoint. While I wouldn’t say it’s anything extraordinary, it definitely delivered on solid hash flavor, and the aroma was absolutely outstanding. The only thing holding it back was a slight harshness, which kept me from giving it a higher rating. That said, props to Bryantist for putting out a solid product. I would definitely recommend giving it a try. While I might not grab this particular strain again due to the harshness, I’m definitely open to trying more from Bryantist in the future as i cant make one jar represent his work.
