Appearance
This rosin had a great appearance when I first opened the jar, with a subtle beige tint. After whipping, it didnāt change muchāit wasnāt the wettest consistency, but it was still easy to scoop. However, over time, it dried out and lost the fresh look it had initially, which I wasnāt a fan of.
On the bright side, the jar art was absolutely stunningādefinitely an eye-catcher. I especially loved the top sticker, which featured latte art with rosettaās and hearts. And if you know me, you know how much I love coffee, so that detail really stood out to me.
Aroma
When I first opened the jar and took a whiff, I was immediately met with a sweet, tropical papaya aroma. It wasnāt overwhelmingly loud, but it wasn't quiet either. There was definitely a hint of peach in the mix as well, adding a subtle fruity depth, but it wasnāt as dominant as the papaya, which really took center stage.
Taste
Ā The taste on this one was impressive, boasting a well-rounded terpene profile that made for a flavorful experience. On the inhale, you're immediately greeted by a rich, sweet papaya flavor that is both smooth and vibrant, coating the palate with its tropical essence. As you exhale, the flavor transitions into a mellow yet enjoyable peach spray-like terp, adding a subtle fruity twist that lingers pleasantly. While there was a slight throat tickle, it wasnāt overpowering and didnāt take away from the overall experience.
Overall
This was my first time trying anything from Simplee Adam, and overall, it was a solid jar. Honestly, the jar art is what initially caught my attention. I usually donāt care too much about packaging, but as a big coffee drinker who starts most mornings with a latte, I thought this would be the perfect pairing for my daily coffee ritual. I was hoping the hash inside would be just as satisfying as my morning brew. The terp profile was definitely the highlight of t his strain for me. However, I noticed that it didnāt perform as well at higher temps. It burned a bit darker and had a slightly spicy edge when pushed too hot. This one really shined at lower temps, where the flavors and terps came through beautifully and there was little to no throat tickle. As for the effects, they were enjoyable but not particularly potent, which I liked. It gave a nice lift, making it a solid choice for a morning session, and I really liked ripping it through my Puffco Pivot during my coffee runs. Kudos to Simplee Adam for brewing this one upāit was a well-crafted jar. While it wasnāt exactly my cup of tea (or coffee, in this case), Iām definitely looking forward to seeing what Simplee Adam cooks up next.
