This Candy Maple looked good when I first cracked the jar it had a glistening beige, almost off-white color that looked real nice and clean. After whipping it up it a wetter more terpy look to it. The rosin also had a nice consistency to it that was easy to scoop on my dab tool.
Aroma
The nose on this was good when I went in for a sniff the first thing I thought was it was heavy on the candy fumez which I thought was interesting it had a like nose filling slightly sweet fumez smell for it that was great to smell.
Taste
The flavor on this one was very nice and mouthing coating, im not usually big on candy fumez or black maple, but the terps here really pulled through and gave me a new appreciation for the strain. If you’re into candy fumez, this one’s got it, pretty much drowns out the black maple with a heavy fumez inhale, then goes off into a subtle maple finish on the exhale. Honestly, it made me like the strain way more than I expected .
Overall
I had to run it back with some more Heads That Roll after that grape gas this time I went with the candy maple, and it was hitting, even though it’s not usually my go-to terp profile. Still, this jar was legit, and I gotta give props where it’s due. True to the name, you’re getting a solid blend of candy fumez and black maple, with the fumez really taking the spotlight which I know a lot of people love. Even though it’s strain isn’t my cup of tea, the strain had a super clean look, loud nose, great flavor, and dabbed smooth everything I look for in a quality jar. Heads That Roll is putting out straight heat right now, and I’ll definitely be grabbing more when I can.
