Appearance
The jar design had a chill vibe, with a sleepy frog as the logo on the top sticker, and the wraparound label showcasing a slick font spelling out ‘Fruit Snackz.’ The rosin itself looked wet and terpy with a light tan hue that gave it an nice look.
Aroma
The nose was the second thing that grabbed my attention after the crosses. When I cracked the jar I got hit with a bold champaya aroma that had sweet, zesty citrus notes that I absolutely love. I don’t pick up much of the Z profile, but it’s likely being overshadowed by the loud, dominant champaya smell.
Taste
The flavor on this one was solid right from the first hit, I got a strong burst of Champaya with that sweet, fruity kick, followed by a ever so subtle zkittlez finish. At higher temps, it was a bit harsh, but when dabbed low, the terp really came alive and let the flavor shine. With a cross like this, it’s hard to go wrong, though I do wish it was smoother to make the overall experience better.
Overall
his was my first time trying Sleepy Frog Farms, and it didn’t disappoint. I know that the video is not off my usual setup but I lost the video of me hitting it off that so I used this @puffco one, most the jar was dabbed off quartz. What made me try this jar was just curiosity, when I see a brand I haven’t tried that catches my attention I like to give it a shot and see what they’re about. I never judge a brand off the one jar, but it usually gives me a solid first impression. This one honestly checked most of the boxes: amazing flavor, good appearance but the smoothness wasn’t quite there. Whenever I went in hotter off my @toro, it hit a little harsh, and no one’s a fan of that. That said, it was still a great jar overall. I probably won’t grab this specific one again, but I’ll definitely be back to try another drop from them. Shoutout to Sleepy Frog Farms, if you’re into fruity, champaya heavy profiles, this one might be for you.
