The rosin in this jar looked absolutely incredible when I first cracked it open. It had a beautiful, light pale beige color that got my attention. The texture on the rosin was nice with an easy to scoop stable consistency which I always like. The jar design was also impressive, with it a sleek purple wrap with the a unique and quirky logo of what looks like some sort of vegetable gasping. It's a fun and creative touch, definitely a fan of the branding
Aroma
The aroma was definitely unique. From the first smell, I was hit with a sweet, fruity, and slightly dank grape like nose. As I got a deeper sniff, a subtle hint of something a bit more raunchy started to come through very faintly, but noticeable the longer I smelled it. I wasn’t exactly sure how this translated to "Grape Guava" based on the name, but it was an interesting nose. That raunchier note is barely there at first it smells predominantly sweet fruity dank grape unless you really take your time to smell the jar deeper.
Taste
The flavor on this one was surprisingly complex its almost like a mix of grape and garlic. It didn’t get any guava or sweet fruity notes that I was expecting based on the aroma, which really threw me off. The taste was quite different from the nose and, in my opinion, not very true to the name “grape guava”. Honestly “grape garlic” would’ve been a more fitting name. That said, I was surprised by how much I actually didn't mind it and it kind of grew on me.
Overall
This was my first time trying the brand Juice Factory, and I picked it up mainly because a homie vouched for it, he said the brand was fire and I always enjoy checking out new recommendations. Even though the strain name didn’t quite match the flavor profile, I was still impressed by the overall quality of the rosin. It checked all the boxes in my opinion: smooth, flavorful, and the high was solid, rather potent without being overwhelming. I’m definitely interested in trying more from Juice Factory in the future, especially if I come across a jar that really catches my eye.
