Appearance

The Papaya Cane looked great, with a light off white color and a few visible terp bubbles. The texture was great too with an easy to scoop consistency. The jar design was cool too, featuring a pink and black top sticker with the Pure Melt  logo, and a pink and black striped wraparound label that included all the details in a clean, eye-catching layout.

Aroma

The nose on this one was really nice it had a slightly sweet fruity vibe with strong lemon citrus notes standing out more than the sweet fruity notes. It’s definitely interesting, and you can tell the lemon cane in the cross came through on the nose strongly.

Taste

The taste on this one was nice, but not what I expected. Instead of that heavy papaya presence I was looking for, it leaned more toward a light sweet, fruity profile with some lemon terps coming out. I had a homie describe it as a watered down lemonade with a fruity twist, and I completely agree. I will say it dabbed very clean though with no background noise but it just wasn’t my type of terps.

Overall

This was a solid jar and the second one I’ve tried from Pure Melt  recent drop. The last jar I tried was Banana Zikigai which was a collab with Raw Genetics, but this one was single source, which was the main reason I wanted this one.

It checked all the boxes in my opinion. My only critique is that the flavor leaned more toward lemon terps than papaya which I wasn’t a big fan of but it does have lemon cane in the cross so expected.. If you prefer lemon terp profiles, you’ll probably enjoy this more than I did. The high was enjoyable with a smooth and uplifting high, great for daytime dabs without being overpowering.

All in all, this papaya cane was a quality jar of rosin that I definitely enjoyed, but I wouldn’t pick it up again just because the terp profile wasn’t my favorite. Still, no doubt it’s a great jar.
