Appearance

The rosin looked really good upon opening, with an off white color with a very slight yellow tint. If I had to describe it as a single color, it would be a perfect ivory color. It also had a very clean appearance, with no contaminants visible to the naked eye or under my phone’s macro lens. The texture was just as nice, with a wet, terpy and easy to scoop consistency.

The jar art was really cool featuring a tennis themed design, im not sure which he went with, as it doesn't really fit diesel dough in my opinion but nonetheless it was a very cool design. The top sticker had a tennis ball look with an orange “R” in the middle and “rosin papi” spelled out underneath. The wraparound kept the tennis theme and appeared to show two US Open winners laying down and celebrating a victory, one being Carlos Alcaraz and the other a female player I could not make out. The wraparound also displayed the name “Diesel Dough” in large text along with additional product information

Aroma

The smell on this one was really enjoyable. As soon as I cracked the jar, I knew I was going to like it. It has a sharp, sour, gassy terp profile with underlying sweet cream notes from the do-si-dos in the cross. Those sweet creamy notes become more noticeable the longer you smell it, but initially you are met with a balanced sour gas aroma that is not too overpowering but just right. It almost comes across as a smooth sour gas rather than one that screams at you. I even saw someone describe it as smelling like gas with water and I can see that comparison.

Taste

The taste on this one was very enjoyable, clean, and smooth, with no harshness at all, and it translates well from the smell. On the front end, it delivers a bold sour gas profile that is balanced by sweet, creamy notes on the backend. It almost feels like eating a sweet, creamy pastry with a sour, gasoline concoction all over it. I really enjoyed the taste on this one its exactly what you would expect the cross to taste like.

Overall

This was my first time trying anything from Rosin Papi, and I have to say I was impressed. I know this is only one jar, so I cannot speak on his full lineup, but this one was i really enjoyed. I picked it up mainly because I had never tried the brand before and was looking for something that packed a solid punch while still delivering great flavor, and this jar did exactly that.

For those who are unfamiliar with Rosin Papi he is a hash maker out of Miami with a Cuban background. He does single source, indoor, organic living soil grown flower that he then washes and presses into hash. I don't know anything else about him and the brand like when he started and his journey etc but i do know he's killing it.

This jar checked all the boxes. The appearance, aroma, and flavor were all on point, and the effects were just as good, delivering a strong but enjoyable high. I especially liked taking a dab before bed, though it can also serve as a complete smacker in the morning. It offers a nice head high paired with a warm, cozy body high that I really enjoyed.

This jar was great and truly delivered across the board. I would definitely grab this again and honestly wish I had picked up two or more from the start. Shoutout to Rosin Papi going crazy on this one, the jar was straight fire, and I would definitely recommend grabbing it if you see it in the next round.
