Appearance

The appearance of this rosin looked nice. It opened to a pale gold color with a wet but slightly dry texture that still stuck to your dab tool and scooped easily. It also had a visually clean look, with no contaminants visible to the naked eye or under my phone’s macro lens, which is always good to see.

The jar art was simple and remained with that classic Wooksauce Winery style. This one had a light red wraparound label with the name and product information, along with a top sticker displaying the Wooksauce Winery logo.

Aroma

The nose on this jar is straight up my cup of tea. The second you crack it, the aroma floods the room with a loud, rich, sweet smell. Think red apple candy turned all the way up. It’s just an extremely robust fruity candy terp profile that keeps pulling you back in for another sniff.

Taste

The taste on this one was really nice and translates well from the nose. The flavor on this one is like dabbing a sweet, fruity red wine that is mouth coating. It reminds me of a Taylor Port desert wine, but different. I don’t think it tastes like an actual sangria, but it captures everything you would expect from one. It’s like if you took all the fruit in a sangria with the oranges, red apples, and other mixed fruit and blended them together with a touch of Taylor Port wine and sugar. It also dabbed clean with no harshness which I really enjoyed making the flavor really shine.

Overall

This was a great jar from Wooksauce Winery and Mendoja Farms  and was my first time trying the strain Sangria and it definitely impressed me and was my kind of terps no doubt. The reason I got this jar though was because my friend let me try his sangria jar from another brand and I really enjoyed that dab and knew I couldn’t leave Puffcon without grabbing a sangria jar from someone so when I saw Wooksauce Winery had one at their booth I knew I had to grab one.

If you don’t know Wooksauce Winery they are a hash brand started by Flynn in 2014 in Washington and California. Then Flynn met Alice after coming to California from Brazil they hit it off and have got married and have been making hash together since. They use to only do single source but now they only do collabs with other farmers like this jar which was grown by Mendoja Farms .

This jar checked all the boxes. The looks, smell, taste, and high were all good. It dabbed smoothly, and the effects brought a relaxing body high that makes you just want to chill. The only thing I seem to notice was a bit of a weird after taste but it goes away quick so not too bad and doesn’t take away from the overall experience.

This jar was a great Wooksauce Winery and Mendoja Farms did their thing on this sangria that’s for sure. This might just be my favorite jar from Wooksauce Winery with the grape gas grown by Willardz right up there as well, I may be a bit biased as I love those unique fruity sweet candy terps but this one was great. The only regret I have on this jar truly is that I didn’t get more than one because I really enjoyed this one. Shoutout to Wooksauce Winery and Mendoja Farms yall stay killing it!
