Appearance

The rosin looked great opening to a shiny white ivory kind of color. The consistency was on point  with a wet but stable texture that stayed on your dab tool and was easy to scoop. Visually, it was clean, with no contaminants visible to the naked eye or even under my phone’s macro lens.

The jar design was also creative and eye-catching. The top sticker had “Dammit Bobby,” on it along with two bunches of grapes underneath and had an open field background with green grass, a blue sky, and fluffy clouds. The wraparound label had the name in big in a pink purple color, with two grape bunches beneath it over a cloud-filled sky, along with the strain name and other relevant information.

Aroma

The nose on this was nice. When you crack the jar you're met with a loud, juicy sour citrus aroma, followed by mild, sweet fruity notes. I’m not entirely sure how I’d describe the fruit, but personally I wouldn’t call it grape. As you continue to smell the jar, the sweet fruit notes become more pronounced while the sour citrus shifts into the background.

Taste

The taste on this one was very enjoyable, and it dabbed clean with no harshness, which really allowed the flavor to shine. It delivers a smooth, clean, sweet, sour lemon terp that isn’t as sour as the nose but still rather sour. That said, I don’t get a strong grape flavor overall, it leans much more toward a sweet, sour lemon profile, which I found unique and really enjoyable.

Overall

This was my first time trying Dammit Bobby, and it did not disappoint at all. I had tried a Tier 2 jar a while back and wasn’t too impressed, but this one is night and day different. I decided to grab this jar after seeing so many people saying great things about it, and I’d been wanting to try Dammit Bobby for a while.

For those who may not know, Dammit Bobby is a hashmaker based in Portland, Oregon who has been absolutely killing it for some time now. I’m not exactly sure when he started making hash, but he’s definitely been in the game for a while and has won multiple awards from major hash competitions around the world, including 1st Place Hash at Ego Clash in 2019 and 4th Place Rosin at Ego Clash Barcelona in 2023, among others.

This jar checked all the boxes for me. The looks, smell, taste, and high were all on point, nothing to complain about. It dabbed very smoothly, packed a solid punch, and was rather potent, leaving me relaxed after a couple of dabs without completely taking me out.

I’ll admit, I wasn’t a huge fan at first because I was expecting a sweeter, more artificial grape terp like grape gas but after a few dabs, I really came to appreciate the jar for its uniqueness. Shoutout to Dammit Bobby and Parks Press Organics!
