The looks on this jar was crazy. The picture doesn’t do it justice because seeing it in person was something else. You could clearly read the bottom sticker through the fresh press, showing just how transparent and clear it was. When you held it up, it looked like an empty jar or one filled with water, just super clean.
Once the fresh press cured, it took on a nice pale white color with a wet, terpy texture after a whip, though it did dry out slightly toward the end. This was a beautiful jar of fresh press, visually stunning and super clean.
The jar art was simple. The lid featured the classic Feel Good logo with that iconic smiley face in blue, and the bottom label kept it minimal with the strain name and info in blue too.
Aroma
The smell on this one in fresh press form was nice. I usually don’t get much aroma from fresh press, but this one had a louder terp profile than most, with a light, clean, sweet citrus scent that wasn’t overpowering but definitely noticeable.
Once the jar cured, the smell really started to come alive. I got a bright, refreshing sweet citrus with blueberry like notes that just smelled amazing.I really enjoyed the nose on this one my kind of terps for sure.
Taste
The taste in fresh press form was really nice. I got a light, refreshing blueberry like sweetness with citrus notes coming through as well just super tasty. I took a few dabs before curing it up just to see how it was in that form but I really enjoy the terps more when cured up.
Once it cured, it kept that same sweet blueberry and citrus profile, but it lost a bit of the refreshing edge it had in fresh press form. I also picked up a slight earthy and floral note toward the end, which helped balance the sweetness and added some complexity.
It was a clean super tasty jar with no background noise and very smooth. It dabs like water and that’s something I always value highly in a review.
Overall
This was a great jar from Feel Good and Mendoja Farms, they absolutely killed it. I like to review fresh press in two ways: first as fresh press, and then again after it’s cured, as you can see in the review picture. I usually include a dab video of both, but I got a little too high and completely forgot to record the cold cure shot for this one.
Normally, I don’t go for fresh press since it tends to lack the strong taste and smell you get from melt or cold cure. However after seeing all the options Feel Good had at its booth, I had to grab some, and there’s no better place to get perfectly stored fresh press than straight from the source.
This jar checked every box. It looked amazing, smelled and tasted great, and dabbed super clean. The high was also really nice too, not one that’ll put you down, but one perfect for just chilling.
Feel Good and Mendoja definitely did their thing with this one. It’s probably my favorite Feel Good jar I’ve had so far personally. I loved everything about it, and honestly, the only downside was that I only had one gram. I may be a bit biased towards this profile but I really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend grabbing this to people!
