The visual appeal on this jar was solid. When I cracked it open the rosin had a pale beige almost off white color with a wet and terpy look to it. The rosin also had a clean look with no visible contaminants to the naked eye or under my phone's macro lens. The consistency was also nice with an easy to scoop texture that was stable and stayed on my tool. The rosin also burned clean on the nail after dabbing with no residue left or burnt look on nail after.
The jar packaging was cool with an mucho mango arizona drink look to it with that yellow color scheme. The top sticker had the I Love Kush logo in an orange and yellow background. The wraparound had that mucho mango arizona drink look to it, along with mangos all around it and includes the jars name “Mango 36” in a cool font and it also included other details on the jar such as the micron range, gram weight. The jar used was also a real authentic miron jar with the “m” stamped on the bottom which preserves hash better than the fake Chinese ones which is always a plus.
Aroma
The nose is really nice and opens up with sweet, zesty, tangy ripe mango terps that smell incredible. Those sweet citrus notes come through heavy, with some unique dank funk mixed in, making it genuinely reminiscent of a real mango smell.
Taste
The taste was really nice and translated well from the nose. On the inhale you get mouth-coating sweet, zesty citrus and ripe mango notes, with some unique dank tones coming through as well. The flavor also lingers on the palate, leaving that distinctive dank flavor alongside the sweet mango notes. I really enjoyed the taste of this one.
Overall
This was a great jar from I Love Kush. They really did their thing with this one, and it might be my favorite jar from them to date. I grabbed this because I had their MangoShish last drop and thought it had nice mango terps, but the Candy Shish in that cross came through a little too strong for my liking with an earthy, dank profile that took away from the mango terps. With this one, you really get those mango terps screaming out which I enjoy and is exactly why I wanted to try it.
If you don’t know, I Love Kush is a grower and hash maker out of California who’s been at it for quite some time. They often do a good amount of single source work, but there have also been collaborations in the past with brands like LA Daily Source, Wizard Rozin, and others. Their staple strain is Bazooka, which seems to be in almost every drop and has a unique sweet strawberry bubblegum terp profile.
The jar checked all the boxes. The looks, smell, taste, and high were all on point with no real complaints. There was a slight bit of harshness toward the end of the dab, but nothing to really complain too much about. The high was enjoyable too, with mellow effects that deliver a nice body high but is not an overly potent jar.
This was a good jar from I Love Kush and one of my favorites from them to date. The terp profile translates really well and gives you a genuine mango like taste, which I enjoyed a lot. I’d grab this jar again with no real complaints other than the slight harshness. Shoutout to I Love Kush!
