Appearance
The jar has great visual appeal, opening up to an ivory, light yellow tint color with a wet and sugary kind of look to it. The rosin had a clean look to it too with no contaminants visible to the naked eye or under my phone's macro lens. The texture was solid, with a wet sugary like consistency that was stable and stayed on your dab tool. It also burned clean on the nail after dabbing, leaving behind no residue or burnt look.
The jar packaging was cool and came in an authentic miron with the “m” stamped on the bottom. The jar design had a cool vibe to it with an island theme to it. The top sticker featured the Tsunami Solventless logo in a blue and tan color scheme, which consisted of one large tsunami wave with a sunset in the background. The wraparound sticker also looked great, featuring a cool looking beach scene with surfboards in the sand and mountains in the distance, giving off strong Hawaii vibes. The wraparound also included the jar name “Peaches and Z” and other details on the jar such as the micron range, gram weight, and genetics.
Aroma
The nose on this one is interesting, it opened up to a sharp gassy sweet peach smell that shoots up your nose but then settles into more of those sweet peachy cream notes after a while which I like. The peach smell comes out the longer you smell and kind of pushes those gas notes to the back but as soon as you go back for a smell those gassy notes return on the front end.
Taste
The taste on this jar is nice and taste rather similar to the smell but slightly different I get a slightly sour sweet peach taste that's not as gassy as the smell and then I get those peach noses sweet peach cream nectar like taste that is nice. It also dabbed nice and clean with no harshness.
Overall
This is now my fifth and final jar from the new Tsunami Solventless drop, and was my favorite of the drop with pineapplez and surf ninja being right up there too. This is usually the part where I explain why I chose the jar, but this time around I didn’t pick it myself. I was fortunate enough to be asked by Tsunami if I’d be down to provide some tasting and aroma notes, and I figured I’d go ahead and review the jars as well after too. Shoutout to Tsunami for trusting my palate and always showing love to my reviews.
If you don’t know much about Tsunami Solventless , he’s a California based breeder and grower known for putting out some fire flavors. He’s released seeds and cuts like Wavez, Caribbean Cream, and other standouts, with his staple strain being Animal Tsunami, a cross between Animal Cookies x Caramel Tsunami that also serves as the backbone for much of the strains bred by him. Meltiplex is the brands in house hash maker, responsible for this jar and other releases under the brands name. He’s also collaborated in the past with reputable hash brands like Masterball Melts , Feel Good, and Splash Solventless.
This jar checked all the boxes. The appearance, nose, and flavor were all on point with nothing to complain about. The high was really nice and fairly potent, bringing a heavy head high with a relaxing body feel, which I definitely enjoyed. It also dabbed super clean with no harshness, making the experience even better. I also mentioned this in the Pineapplez review too, but it’s wild that both Pineapplez and this Peaches and Z share the same genetics, just different phenos. The contrast is crazy this one leans into more gassy, sweet peach terps, while the other brings out sweet, tropical pineapple terps.
This was a solid jar from Tsunami Solventless and easily one of my favorites from the drop. It checked all the boxes, with a terp profile that I really enjoyed and a smooth, clean dab from start to finish. The effects were also nice and potent as well, definitely one that can catch up to you if you’re not careful. I would grab this jar again with no complaints. Shoutout to Tsunami Solventless!
