Appearance
The look of this rosin was solid, it had a light golden buttery color with a wet, sugary appearance and small air bubbles across the surface. It looked clean both to the naked eye and under a macro lens, with no visible contaminants. The consistency was typical for this brand's collabs with more of a wet, saucy jam, which is not my personal favorite but nothing wrong with it. It burned clean on the nail with minimal residue and no dark or harsh burn appearance.
The jar packaging was cool, coming in an authentic Miron jar with the “m” stamped on the bottom. The design featured a pink color scheme with touches of yellow. The top sticker was pink and displayed the Pure Organics logo in that signature font, with the collaborator Humble Greenery listed below. The wraparound label was pink all around and had the name “Cherry Bananas” big in the center with a yellow outline. The wraparound also included the Humble Greenery logo, micron range, and weight.
Aroma
The nose on this one is nice. It is not a very loud jar but it still carries a solid aroma. I get a faint slightly sweet cherry note upfront followed by more of a green underripe banana profile with those sour leaning notes rather than a ripe sweet banana. The cherry smell comes in at the front then comes in and out with the green banana notes as the backbone.
Taste
The taste is nice and translates well from the smell, opening with a light, sweet cherry note layered with an unripe banana flavor. The flavor coats your mouth for a bit but does not stay on the palate long. What’s interesting is that the banana taste isn’t really as sour as it comes off on the nose, it's more blended in with the cherry, creating a really smooth light banana cherry taste. As the cherry fades out, it leaves you with those lingering unripe banana notes terps on the finish.
Overall
This was a solid jar from Pure Organics and Humble Greenery. The reason I decided to give this one a try was because their 4z collab did not impress me, so I wanted to check out another jar from that drop to see how they compare and I can say this one was by far better.
If you’re not familiar with Pure Organics, they’re a California based hash brand with around 14 years of cultivation experience and about 10 years of washing hash. They offer both single source rosin and a range of collaborations with respected cultivators like Humble Greenery, Pure Melt, First Class Concentrates, Symbiotic Genetics, Willardz, Mountain Organics, and more.
I would say this jar checked just about all the boxes, with the smell, taste, and effects all being solid and nothing to really complain about. However, as i mentioned the only downside for me was the sugary jam like texture which is not my personal preference but it does not take away from the overall experience. It also dabbed smooth and clean with no harshness or discomfort, and the effects were enjoyable, delivering a decently potent body high that does not take you out but still provides some nice, relaxing effects which I enjoyed.
Shoutout to Pure Organics and Humble Greenery, this was a solid jar and far more enjoyable than the 4z I picked up last time. I probably would not grab this one again since the terp profile did not stand out enough for me to wanna grab another, but it was a quality jar, and if that sounds like your type of terps, I would recommend trying it.
