Appearance

The look on this jar was decent, not the best but not bad either. Upon opening, it had a noticeably dry consistency, which I’m not a big fan of and something I tend to notice more with these jars compared to authentic black miron jars with the “m” stamped on the bottom. This thumbprint was laid out cleanly with Wild Cherry on the outside, grown by Willardz, and Blue Juice on the inside, grown by Ganjah Guru, and both shared that same dryness. The Wild Cherry had a nice pale, off white color with a dry, slightly crumbly consistency when scooping. The Blue Juice had a similar almost crumble like texture, but with a more saturated amber tone.

As for the packaging, the rosin came in one of those clear jars with stainless steel lids, which I’m not a fan of for cold cure since they tend to dry the rosin out over time. The jar art itself was very well done. Chris usually doesn’t miss when it comes to jar art. It featured two stickers, one on the top and one on the bottom. The top sticker glows in the dark and shows two silhouettes facing each other by a waterfront railing, with a skyline of tall buildings in the background under a bright blue sky. Within the silhouettes, there appears to be Japanese text, which I could depict but it adds a cool touch. The bottom sticker was also clean, featuring a cobalt heart over an orange background, with the jar name “Kintsugi Cobalt Heart” above it. It also included additional details like micron range, genetics, and collab names at the bottom.

Aroma

The nose on this is great. It’s loud, with an overpowering artificial candy like sweetness with tropical bright rich cherry notes. There’s also a citrusy sweetness in there too, not like orange or lime but more along the lines of pineapple sweet citrus.

Taste

The taste on this jar was alright. Since it’s a thumbprint, there are three ways to dab it: the Wild Cherry alone, the Blue Juice alone, or both together. I tried all three starting with the Blue Juice and it wasn’t bad. It had a light, slightly sweet, fruity, airy flavor that wasn’t very mouth coating or profound. It dabbed clean on the nail but had a slight bit of background noise on the backend making it slightly harsh.

The Wild Cherry, on the other hand, was much more expressive. It matched the nose closely, delivering a burst of sweet, rich, cherry flavor with subtle sweet citrus notes, similar to a pineapple. It was nice and mouth coating, dabbed clean on the nail, and was clean when dabbing too with no discomfort.

When combined, the Wild Cherry completely dominates the profile, bringing those same sweet rich cherry citrus bursts to the plate with the blue juice terps not even noticeable or just tucked away. It also dabbed clean on the nail and but dabbed with a slight discomfort from the Blue Juice likely.

Overall

This was a nice jar from The Real Cannabis Chris, Ganjah Guru and Willardz like many of the jars I've had in the past from this brand. I decided to grab this one since I hadn’t tried anything from them this year and wanted to check out some of their newer drops. Also seeing Wild Cherry in the lineup definitely caught my attention, as I’ve always enjoyed it before. I also saw it was cultivated by Willardz, and wanted to see how it compared.

The Real Cannabis Chris is a California based hash brand that’s been cultivating since 1998 and washing since 2007. Many people know them for their crazy strain names and for their unique terp profiles. Some of the brands most sought out and award winning strains are Wild Cherry, Guapa Empanada De Piña 22, and Guapa Pie 2, which have all turned into staples for the brand. The brand has competed in several major hash competitions around the world alongside other highly reputable hashmakers and has taken home a significant number of wins, some big ones include 1st place melt at Full Moon Sesh Bangkok 2024 with Guapa Sisters (Guapa Pie 2 and Guapa Empanada De Piña 22), 1st place People’s Choice at the LA Dabrite Championship 2024 with Wild Cherry, 2nd place at Ego Clash Barcelona 2024 with a trio blend, 3rd place at Masters of Rosin NYC 2024 with Dulce De Fresa, 1st place rosin with Wild Cherry and 2nd place hash with Guapa Empanada De Piña 22 at Full Moon Sesh Bangkok 2026, and honestly the list goes on. To summarize their competition record, they’ve entered 42 cups since 2022 and placed top three in all but three, which is a pretty wild level of consistency.

This jar almost checked most of the boxes. The looks and smell were both solid, and the flavor profile was rather nice as well. However there was a slight bit of discomfort when dabbing, nothing too crazy but still noticeable. The effects also didn’t fully land either, as the high wasn’t very potent.

Shoutout to The Real Cannabis Chris, Ganjah Guru and Willardz. This one was a tasty jar for the most part and I would possibly consider grabbing it again as the Wild Cherry taste is just great with those super juicy sweet exotic cherry terps. I do however wish it was paired with something different than the Blue Juice as it wasn’t very flavorful and wasn’t as clean when dabbing which held the jar back in my opinion.
