Appearance

This jar had a nice look when I opened it, with a wet, terpy appearance and a pale ivory color with a yellow tint. When looking closer I could also spot quite a bit of terp bubbles present. The rosin also had a clean look to it upon opening, with no visible contaminants to the naked eye or even under my phone’s macro lens. When I dipped my dab tool in, the consistency was workable, with that wet ideal rosin consistency that is easy to scoop onto my tool.

The rosin came packaged in an authentic miron jar with the ā€œmā€ stamped on the bottom. It had three stickers: a wraparound, a top, and a bottom. The top sticker was heavily embossed and had a bright half pink half green colorway with small black dots representing watermelon seeds, giving it a watermelon inspired theme. In the center was a large embossed white Yeti footprint with ā€œYeti Meltsā€ written inside in the same vibrant pink and green colors. The wraparound was also fully embossed and carried the same watermelon inspired theme with a bright pink fading into white along with a green bottom trim and had those small black dots representing watermelon seeds. In the middle it displayed the jar name ā€œSKWā€ in large bright green lettering outlined in black with ā€œStrawberry Kiwi Watermelonā€ written underneath as the abbreviation meaning. The wraparound also included extra details such as the brand name and notes mentioning it was single source, bred in house from seed to solventless, hand washed, and true small batch. The bottom sticker kept things simple with a black background, a blue snowflake in the center, and information like the micron range and weight listed below.

Aroma

The aroma is enjoyable and loud. When I crack the jar open, it instantly bursts with artificial watermelon candy smell with a sugary sweet, juicy fruity smell. It’s straight sweet candy watermelon terps on the nose, and it smells real nice.

Taste

The aroma is enjoyable and loud. When I crack the jar open, it instantly bursts with artificial watermelon candy smell with a sugary sweet, juicy fruity smell. It’s straight sweet candy watermelon terps on the nose, and it just smells really nice. It’s almost like opening a bag filled with watermelon jolly ranchers, giving off that vibrant, sugary artificial candy smell that instantly smacks you in the face.

Burn/Smoothness

The rosin burned really nice on the nail leaving behind a light golden translucent color, and not a dark or murky color which would indicate there's quite a bit of contaminants. There was also no visible charring or black specs on the nail. The jar also dabbed very smooth even when testing those higher temps with little to no harshness or discomfort which I always enjoy.

Effects

It delivered some really nice effects with a chill, easygoing high that was nice for dabbing during the day as it's not too potent but still delivers a nice chill high but definitely nothing that will take you out.

Overall

This is the third and last jar from the Yeti Melts drop that I have tried with my first one being Yellow Vines, second one being Citro Slush and now this one which easily was my personal favorite of the three and kept that same quality. The reason I got this jar is because I had been wanting to try this brand for some time now after hearing great things on them, but the high ticket always held me back, and sometimes I was out of the country when they dropped so it never lined up. I also wanted to see if it lived up to the hype and if that price point was really justified. I also chose it because the terp profile just sounded right up my alley strawberry kiwi watermelon I mean that just sounds super tasty and flavorful.

Yeti Melts is a small batch, couple team out of California that started in 2021 and has since built a strong reputation as one of the more sought after brands in the hash scene. Between the couple, they bring a combined 23 years of cultivation experience and around 9 years of hash making experience. The brand breeds many of their genetics in house, while also dropping occasional collabs. Since they started in 2021 they have had four Ego Clash podium finishes: 2nd place hash in 2021 with Jolly Apple, 3rd place hash in 2022 with Limeapple, 3rd place rosin in 2022 with Turquoise Tiger, and 1st place rosin in 2023 with Optimus Lime. Their Banana God cut, run by Simply Adam, also took 1st place in 2022 at Ego Clash, and they also came 1st place at the Meltdown Pheno Hunt Cup in 2024 with Red Lemons.Ā

I would say this jar checked all the boxes. The looks, nose, taste, high and everything all around was solid with no complaints.Ā

The jar had an amazing terp profile. If you like bursting, juicy candy watermelon terps, this absolutely has it. I would 100% grab this again even with the steep price point because the uniqueness alone makes it worth spinning back on for me, especially keeping in mind the genetics are bred in house so you won’t find them anywhere else. It’s a really well done watermelon profile, which is something I honestly don’t come across too often in hash. Shoutout to Yeti Melts, y’all killed this jar!
